About Crewsii

We didn't build Crewsii to start another company. We built it because the industry deserved better.

A founder's story about trust, skilled labor, and who should benefit from the value created in telecom and utility construction.

Chapter 1

Built from experience on every side of the work

My name is Marina Miller. Before I founded Crewsii, I spent more than a decade in telecommunications and utility construction as a prime contractor.

I hired employees, built subcontractor networks, managed crews, and built teams under both W-2 and vendor-heavy workforce models. That experience showed me how each approach affects workers, contractors, and customers.

Our company had to carry insurance, maintain safety and quality programs, satisfy customers, and continually prove that we could deliver. Yet many companies supplying labor were not expected to meet the same standard.

Chapter 2

The people creating the value should own their reputation

I watched skilled drillers, locators, splicers, laborers, operators, and technicians invest in trucks, equipment, tools, training, and insurance while losing part of their earnings to companies standing in the middle.

The people digging trenches, pulling fiber, making splices, locating utilities, and restoring communities are the people building America. They deserve the opportunity to build their own reputation, not someone else's.

Crewsii exists to create transparency: a place where professionals and companies can demonstrate their certifications, experience, safety records, equipment, and completed work—and where trust is earned and visible.

Chapter 3

This is personal

I grew up in an immigrant family. My father built a life with his hands. My husband started as a cable installer, moved into underground construction, and eventually started his own company through hard work, real-world experience, and relationships built on trust.

Skilled trades create careers, businesses, and opportunities for families to build wealth without following a traditional path. But the industry will struggle to attract its next generation if the people doing the work continue to receive less while others capture the value.

America is investing in fiber, broadband, power, and critical infrastructure. None of it gets built without skilled labor. The future depends on whether today's workforce believes the industry values them.

Chapter 4

That's why Crewsii exists

We exist to recognize skill, reward experience, make trust visible, and connect companies directly with qualified professionals and organizations that have earned their reputation.

We are building more than a hiring platform. We are building a professional identity for the skilled trades—a place that works as hard for the people building our infrastructure as they work for everyone else.

The future of this industry does not belong to the loudest company. It belongs to the people who actually build it.

“I didn't build Crewsii to disrupt the industry. I built it to give the people actually building our infrastructure the recognition and opportunities they deserve.”
